Delete your account and data
This page explains how to request deletion of your VariationFlow account, what is removed, and what may be retained.
Request deletion
Email us from any device — you do not need the app installed or to be signed in. Please send your request from, or include, the email address you sign in with so we can verify the account. We action verified requests within 30 days and email you to confirm once it is done.

Prefer to do it in the app?
If you have the VariationFlow app installed, you can delete your account immediately: tap the account icon in the top-right corner, choose Delete account, then confirm. This permanently removes your personal account data and cannot be undone.
What is deleted
When we action your request we permanently delete the personal data tied to your account, including:
- Your sign-in credentials and your user profile (name, email address and user identifier).
- Any location captured and stored against your profile.
- Your membership of the organisation’s workspace.
What may be retained, and why
VariationFlow is a business tool used by construction companies. Variations you captured are part of your employer’s contractual and commercial project records, so they belong to the organisation that owns the account rather than to you personally. Those records — and references to who submitted them — may be retained by that organisation after your personal account is deleted, where we have a legal, tax or contractual basis to keep them.
If you want the organisation’s entire account and all its project data deleted (not just your personal account), an administrator of that organisation should make the request, or say so in your email and we will coordinate with the account owner.
Residual copies in encrypted backups are removed on our normal rolling cycle, within a further 90 days. We may retain anonymised or aggregated information that can no longer identify you.
If your account is managed by your employer
An administrator at your organisation can also remove your access immediately from Settings → Team on the web dashboard. Emailing us using the button above will additionally delete your personal data as described here.
